Welcome

     I started this blog a little while ago as an avenue to explore fashion, and I've avoided showing it to anyone for a while because it puts you in a vulnerable position to share something you've created.. then I realized if some of you hate it, don't waste your time with it, and if you like it then keep coming back!
      I admire soo many amazing fashion bloggers out there, but I can't totally relate to them because I can't afford Prada shoes, or Proenza Schouler, and I don't have new things to wear every single day. There's nothing I love better than a great sale, I shop at Winners, and I wear all my clothes over and over again. I want to represent the real girls out there, who have bills, (student loans!), and real jobs. You can still look fierce on a budget!

Maybe I'm just tired lately of people complaining about their lives when in reality they have every opportunity to do something about it. You don't like it? Then change it, seriously, and if you aren't willing to do anything about your life at least admit that its because you're scared and stop complaining about it. Yes, change is scary, and life is terrifying but I think its scarier and much more sad to live a life of complacency. If you find yourself unhappy with the life you're living, I hope you have the courage to change it. 

I realize this post has basically nothing to do with fashion.. oi vey. I wore this outfit to work the other day, I'm clearly really into the uptight, hudderite look these days. rawr.

Prudish Rules

Haven't done up my top button since, I don't know, never. My mother would be proud, nothing to see here folks. The DD's are nowhere to be found.  Best part  only good part of my new job = discounted jeans! If I didn't love a good discount so darn much, I would've said "Sayonara" about two shifts ago.

Just kidding, I am the sherpa! Unfortunately I'm not climbing mt. everest, but I still think the Sherpa Poncho is quite fitting. Weather's getting colder and I am covering up like a little old lady. Isn't that what winter is for? Found this poncho at TNA a few weeks ago and fell in lalalalalove. Nothing like a crazy little sherpa lady to set your loins a burnin', am I right? meow.

Happy Tuesday! Hope your long weekend was wonderful and full of treats (be those what they may, eh eh?) My bestie and I went to the Labour Day Classic, and watched the Stampeders get brutalized, but it was a gorgeous day and lots of fun! How adorable is this video though? Makes me feel a little better that Raquel Zimmermann can't dance either. How stunning are these black dresses though?? Also, note the fellow redhead in the video, Karen Elson. The fashion industry is finally starting to realize the importance of redheads, I was getting soo tired of blondes and brunnettes running the show. Let's get real here guys, once you go red, you never back.. except maybe when it comes to men.
